Small museum that allows to get acquainted with the Mayan civilization and that exhibits many pieces in Chetumal.

It is a small museum which counts eight rooms distributed on three levels. Rather well conceived and very didactic, it allows to familiarize oneself gently with the Mayan civilization through some interactive modules which will please the children or reconstitutions and models of very good workmanship. The place exhibits numerous pieces (or reproductions) that were found in the archaeological sites of the region and gives a general panorama of the customs and practices of the civilization. The exhibition rooms regularly host local artists.
