Temple of the Diosa Ixchel, goddess of the moon and fertility, in Isla Mujeres.

Ride a bike or a golf cart to the southernmost point of the island, to the lighthouse. You think you've finally hit a wild spot when you reach the small temple of the Diosa Ixchel, goddess of the moon and fertility. The ruins and some contemporary art sculptures that have found nothing better than to settle there offer little interest, but the view of the sea with its different shades of blue and its waves crashing on the rocks is magnificent. It's almost like being on a Breton island, with the iguanas too! If possible, go there in the early morning.
