Museum in a residence of the beginning of the century, housing a sample of the most representative objects of the Yucatecan popular art.
This museum, housed in a beautiful turn-of-the-century residence, Casa Molina, houses a sample of the most representative objects of Yucatan folk art. Its diversity of more than 1,800 pieces comes from the collection inherited from the former Mayan People's Museum of the National Indigenous Institute. The showcases (sculptures, pottery, textiles, embroidery, paintings) are complemented by temporary exhibitions that testify to the richness of the regional craftsmanship.

Très beau musée
Très beau musée, un peu reculée du centre ville avec beaucoup moins de touristes qu'ailleurs. Le musée est petit mais typique et dans une jolie résidence colorée mexicaine. Il y a beaucoup d'explications et de l'art typiquement mexicain. La boutique vends surtout des œuvres d'arts assez chères
