Same principle as in Mexico City. In Merida, there are two turibus circuits. The cathedral circuit consists of 5 stops, corresponding to 5 tourist sites. You buy the ticket in the morning, and you get down to the stop of your choice, for example the Anthropology Museum, and you can go back to the turibus 2 hours after, to get down to the church of Itzimna.
