Small museum with wide corridors, arches and columns, and a large central patio that traces the history of the island.
This small museum is housed in a beautiful nineteenth-century building from the Porfirian period, with wide corridors, arches and columns, and a large central patio. For a time it was used as a hospital and then converted into a museum in 1998. The permanent exhibition hall traces the history of the island and has five modules where pre-Hispanic pieces are displayed as well as objects related to the world of pirates and the natural environment of the island.
