MUSEO DE LA BELLENA

This amazing museum houses one of the largest collections of marine mammal skeletons on the planet. Knowing that 28 of the 86 species of whales reside in the Sea of Cortes, La Paz is an ideal place to establish this type of specialized institution. With orcas, vaquitas, dolphins, sperm whales, beaked whales and porpoises, the foundation also organizes environmental awareness programs that promote the conservation of marine ecosystems.
