In the interest of fairness and respect, this collective dedicated to arts and culture offers geotourism circuits in the Oaxaca region, immersion in the mixed, mixtèques or zapotecs communities visited. In small groups of up to people, travellers are accommodated in communities and share daily families, meals, agricultural and craft activities: we sow or harvest maize, prepare tortillas in the ancestral way, take part in the manufacture of the mezcal, manufacture handicrafts, learn the bases of the dialects… In short, everything that each of us will have dreamed of to know the local cultures smoothly, while discovering landscapes and beautiful villages. The association, which works hand in hand with the communities visited, proposes four types of circuit (between 4 and 5 days): in Mixes, a remote and beautiful region; in Sierra zapotec, two hours drive north of Oaxaca; a tour of the valleys of the valleys to meet with artisans; the route of Dominican monasteries in Sierra Mixtèque. Oaxaca Cultural can, of course, organise a stay on the map.
