Chalalán opened its doors in 1997, thanks to the American NGO Conservation International and the Inter-American Development Bank. Considered a model of community-based ecotourism and conservation, thanks in part to its training programs for local people, it has received several international awards over the years. You will then embark on an adventure through the rainforest, discovering the priceless natural treasures of the region, alongside your guides, capuchins, macaws, and a lush wild flora.
