This museum houses many colonial paintings representing classical and recognized figures, including that of Saint Francis

After the expulsion of the Jesuits, the Franciscans took over the building. This convent is now a museum that allows you to explore different rooms. The library is full of 15,000 books, preserved since the colonial era. There are many colonial paintings of classical and well-known figures, including one of St. Francis dating from 1680. The archaeological room contains objects found in the region. You can also visit the convent's infirmary.
