Market on the Plaza Mayor where you can find merchants and their stalls on the floors, taste the paceño dishes offered at the comedor
Located in the Plaza Mayor, this market was inaugurated in 1937 and modernized in 2010. More than 1,000 merchants are spread over the 4 floors. There are many stalls of meat, fish, fruit, vegetables ... But also jewelry, toys, dishes and flowers. One comes there especially for the comedor which proposes traditional dishes paceños at ridiculous prices, and at any hour, for the stomachs already accustomed to the Bolivian kitchen. One of the walls of the market was illustrated by the famous artist Mamani Mamani. This is a place to avoid in the evening.

Ce mercado est en plein centre de la Paz. Il est agréable de s’y promener et de pouvoir y manger local. L’accueil y est sympathique. J’ai mangé local pour quelques pesos.

C'est une vrai ville dans la ville ce marché, sur ses étages supérieurs on y trouve des échoppes pour manger, boire des jus de fruits frais pour vraiment pas cher, sinon multitude de stand pour acheter tout et n'importe quoi, ça grouille de partout, une superbe ambiance
