Although going to the movies during a trip is not strongly suggested, it can be a good idea on a Sunday, a holiday or a rainy day, especially with children. Since 1976, the Cinemateca has been screening Bolivian and foreign feature films for the general public as well as amateur films. It is a place par excellence to support and encourage the filmography of Bolivian filmmakers in comfortable and modern theaters.
