Inaugurated in 1943 around 17 km from Cayenne and originally named Rochambeau (hero of the American War of Independence), since 2012 it has been named after the illustrious Guyanese humanist Félix Eboué. It serves Saint-Georges, Saül, Saint-Laurent, Grand Santi and Maripasoula, but there are also regular flights to the French West Indies, the Dominican Republic and Brazil, as well as to mainland France.
