Access: At the exit of Briançon, in the direction of Grenoble, cross the hamlet of Chantemerle (Serre Chevallier 1350). At the foot of the Luc Halphand trail, on the banks of the La Guisane River, you will find the small factory and its store.
Presentation: In 1976, Longo Maï bought the Chantemerle spinning mill in Saint Chraffey, which had been inactive since 1969. Longo Maï's spinning mill now produces clothes and accessories in the colours of the natural fibre of the different species of sheep. This is raw wool without any addition of dye.
Products: In the factory shop of the Longo Maï spinning mill, you will find sweaters, shirts, socks, jackets, blankets, quilts, knitting wool, dresses, skirts...
Visit: During the tourist season, you will have the opportunity to visit the factory on Thursday at 5pm.... Inquire beforehand by telephone.
