Simiane-la-Rotonde has hosted an early music festival since 1841.
The noble room of the château, the rotunda has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1841. It was built around 1200 to reinforce the château's defensive system, making it the oldest circular keep in Provence. The site offers self-guided tours, guided tours (to be booked in advance) and a fine festival of early music every summer. You can also learn about the uses and virtues of essential oils at the château's aromatherapy workshop in the two rooms dedicated to the subject.

Château en haut du village
Un ticket est nécessaire pour entrer. Agréable visite avec quelques œuvres d'art déposées dans l'enceintes. Il y a aussi démonstration pour des huiles essentielles.
