At the end of September, the Commission Qualité et labélisation des Plus Beaux Villages de France voted in favor of the classification of Entrevaux (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) and Saorge (Alpes-Maritimes)! There are now 176 villages in the national network. Entrevaux is a magnificent town, fortified by Vauban, at the foot of a rocky ridge. It also borders the clear waters of a meander in the Var. Saorge, in the heart of the Roya Valley, boasts high façades on the mountainside. It also boasts an exceptional religious heritage. What the two communes have in common is the harmonious cohabitation of housing, monuments and a breathtaking natural environment. Click here for more information.
