Just 50 m from the pier to Ile d'Yeu, Le Poisson Rouge boasts a bistro style in keeping with the times. The view is the main attraction (for a small price!). Dishes are displayed on the slate, giving priority to seasonal produce and avoiding chef fatigue. Fish feature prominently, with fish from the fish market or a fillet of sea bass with seagulls and chorizo. Oysters from the Vendée Atlantique region (over ten euros for 6 oysters!) are a must on the menu. And to finish on a sweet note, the brioche perdue with salted butter caramel.
