Church taken by the Reformed in 1568 and transformed into a temple before being restored to Catholic worship in Cheffois
Classified as a historical monument, the construction dates back in part to the 13th century and then to the 15th and 16th centuries. A first church existed in Merovingian times. Around 850, the sanctuary was entrusted to the canons of Saint-Ruf of Avignon. Nothing remains of the 12th century church. In the 13th century, a nave with four bays was built, including the one under the bell tower. During the Wars of Religion, the church was taken by the Reformed in 1568 and transformed into a temple before being restored to Catholic worship and burned down during the Wars of the Vendée.
