The organic farm Le Porc Bournevaizien, located in Bournezeau, offers direct sales of organic pork. Products available include organic pork grill parcels, organic pork parcels, organic pork retail cuts, organic ham by the kilo and organic grilled pig. The pigs are fed with cereals from organic farming in the Vendée region. The pigs are raised on straw, with an outdoor run to allow them to develop and let off steam. The farm is on a human scale, with around 600 pigs per year. The farm is certified organic and is part of the "Bienvenue à la ferme" network. The farm is about 15-20 minutes from La Roche-sur-Yon, St Hermine and Chantonnay.
