BISTROT LES TONTONS
The bistro Les Tontons (reference to the famous Tontons gunners) is a small table beloved in Saumur. On the terrace or in the sober restaurant with its tufa walls and "Audiaresques" photos, will you opt for the sweetness of a vegetable soup or jump on the galipettes filled with pork? The chef, Bruno Delaveau, invites you to continue the meal with a burger, certainly, but accompanied by foie gras or a beef paleron, a lamb mouse, fish... no panic, vegetarians are also entitled to their plate! As for the wine, the vast choice is mainly local, to be hung by the bottle or, for the most reasonable, by the glass. As for dessert, we'll be happy to have Savoyard brownies on custard, a real treat. A bistro atmosphere, therefore, on the city's emblematic square, with its beautiful, newly restored church. A quality address where it is good to relax.
