Various dishes to enjoy in a restaurant in Montsoreau.
This tufa stone restaurant, full of history, enjoys a privileged location on the banks of the Loire, barely 100 meters from the castle. Its interior is very sober, but some paintings bring a touch of color. The other colors are found in the plate. Here, the chef concocts a regional, gourmet and creative cuisine and takes great care in selecting fresh and high quality products. What a treat! If you plan ahead, you can also enjoy these dishes on the water aboard the Étoile qui Rit.

Very good cuisine, the entrance has base duck (ballotines, lollipop, duck), the rear of perch in beurre blanc, dessert chocolate, everything is a real delight. Food and wine pairing was perfect. Just a flat on the service: we were recommended by a hotel not far but the restaurant was not prevented: the waiter called the hotel and engueulé and was listened in room...Setting could be a little more modern. Address has to remember however for its superb menu
