Various dishes to enjoy in a restaurant in Montsoreau.

This tufa stone restaurant, full of history, enjoys a privileged location on the banks of the Loire, barely 100 meters from the castle. Its interior is very sober, but some paintings bring a touch of color. The other colors are found in the plate. Here, the chef concocts a regional, gourmet and creative cuisine and takes great care in selecting fresh and high quality products. What a treat! If you plan ahead, you can also enjoy these dishes on the water aboard the Étoile qui Rit.

Wonderbox ou restaurant? Ou est l'arnaque?
Nous avions une box «  Gastronomie des grands Chefs à 149,90€ » pour 1 repas pour 2 personnes!! Malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu un repas gastronomique d’exception comme ont pouvaient l’espérer et en rapport avec le descriptif « Wonderbox » !! il nous a été servi un menu à 39€ (entrée, 1 plat, fromages et désert et boissons) avec un choix très limité sinon c’était supplément. Bon sans plus mais pas du tout gastronomique. Service type bistro avec vin au verre sans présentation des bouteilles. Pas de plateau de fromages mais une assiette servie sans explication avec 4 petits morceaux de fromages basiques. Très déçu de wonderbox et du restaurant.

Le cadre était bien le sandre était bon sauf la note nous avons pris 2 apéritifs sans alcool 2 roses et 1 café pour 28,20 euros Ce qui fait le café à 5,20 euros !

Très bonne table
Premier bon point : l'accueil Comme nous avions indiqué lors de la réservation que nous avions un chien, on nous a gentiment indiqué qu'il était le bienvenu et placé à une table près d'une fenêtre et il a eu une belle écuelle d'eau !
Deuxième bon point : la cuisine. Les plats sont raffinés, originaux et suffisamment copieux.
Troisième bon point : les vins locaux. Bons et abordables
Quatrième bon point : le service professionnel et souriant
Tous ces bons points font que ce restaurant est hautement recommandé pour un bon repas entre amoureux ou amis.

Sandre au beurre blanc , pue de beurre blanc donc ils nous on proposée pas du tout la meme choses au dernier moment c'était médiocre pas bon du tout , c'était une sauce au bisque de Omar pas la meme chose , extrêmement déçu .!

La poularde, ginger and mint, pretty name for a dish attractions of the worst canteens. If the presentation is promising, la poularde does not leave any memory, it bathes in a acid and malodorous juice, real hides poverty. The vegetables are of great fatigue, softened in the dish, archis cooked. This dish gives the impression of a long journey, go back and forth between kitchen and fridges before you have found the table du consumer finally. A strong vinegar smell emerges from this dish, inedible, poor, unworthy in this restaurant. This feeling is evident in the service without that do not exceed a " I can report it to the chef... " Around, there is nothing to see!
Therefore third and last stop in this establishment become poor, especially as the introduced little of this dish returned to me sick at night.
