DOMAINE DE LA COUR DU PUY DAVIAU

Winery

Jacques Brochet is a caring character who welcomes us with all the hospitality you can expect. His battle horse? Manual harvesting: he is holding, and against the current, one of the few wine growers in the region is to proceed in this way. Indeed, whether it be for chardonnay or Sauvignon (simple and successful vintages each year), sorting is important and depends on the quality of the wines. What matters to him is that we must rediscover in wine the taste of the cluster, which is yes, but not sufficiently stressed in general. His red anjous bear witness to the aromas of red fruit, which is still in the traditional méthode of lattes, produced in traditional methods, offering no acidity but restoring the freshness of the fruit. Its old vines produced each year is a nectar for the palate, aged 13 months in oak barrel, with roasted aromas, which fill your mouth. The coteaux poil poil comes from plots nestled on the heights of Maligné, a lovely village located near Martigné-Briand.

CHATEAU DES NOYERS

Winery

From Martigné, take the road on the right along the gendarmerie towards Faveraye-Machelles, pass the Dit Dit and continue until the castle rises to your right in the village of Walnut. The majestic medieval building is surrounded by moat and defensive towers and also has an old fortified farmhouse. All the production of the castle, now derived from organic farming, is usually beautiful. The white anjous are pampered (in oak barrels) and their slight residual sugar (according to the vintage) actually made authentic companions of rich dishes developed. The moelleux excited the contests, by regularly seats the medal clusters like the Cuvée Reserve. High-quality wooden tronçoniques tanks now raise some vintages by making it possible to drink their large volume and micro-oxygenation. To retain: Sec white, rosé-de-loire, anjou-villages, three vintages of slopes-du-layon, including the sublime Reserves of the Castle.

DOMAINE LEDUC-FROUIN

Winery

Fourth generation of winemakers installed here on nearly 40 ha in one of the very first cave villages in the area. The Leduc family is produced under the "Terra Vitis" identifier which complies with a specification that is closest to respect for the ecosystem and the parsimonious use of phytosanitary products. Historically specialized in highly fruity rosé wines, tender, minerals and light, we do not renounce very mineral gestures at the wise prices and the coziness of fresh and acidulous coats that enjoy all palaces. The range is declined under pretty statements: Les Gourmandises, red in anjou and villages on beautiful molded tannins rich in black fruit, the Irresistibles, pink dresses like this rosé of loire that we love, fresh, lively and the notes acidulous of candy and tender, then a cabernet focused on the subtle sucrose of and mineral at once, the Subtils, in dry white chardonnay and chenine with a cuvée Alexine, spooky of the domain, the Seducers, in the sparkling catchments for 4 very different wines and some old vintages until 1970 and finally the Festifs, those of bubble bubbles. loire or saumur, decayed in raw, half-dry or rosé.
