The Martin de Candre soap factory is one of the few in France to make its own old-fashioned saponification

Push the door of this charming family store which obtained the label Val de Loire World Heritage (Unesco). It is one of the few soap factories in France to make its own soap in the old way. Do not hesitate to stroll in the museum and the shop-exhibition to discover the nice collection of old advertisements (19th and 20th centuries), labels, furniture of chemists and perfumers.
