Museum housing sculptures, paintings, tapestries and memorabilia (Vendée wars and art from the to centuries).

Exceptional collections, in vast spaces where sculptures, paintings, tapestries and objects of memory cohabit. Two themes are particularly developed: the Vendée wars of course, which affected this historical region of the Mauges, notably during the terrible battle of Cholet, prelude to the pardon of Bonchamps and the Galerne expedition. Art, from the ^16th to the ^21st century, is also honored through signatures such as Van Loo, Vasarely, Kupka, Morellet.

Quality Tourism. Open all year round. Closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25, during Carnival and the Cholet Pays-de-Loire cycle race. Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm; Sunday, 2pm to 6pm. In July and August, open Mondays 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm. Children, schoolchildren, students, working teachers, RSA beneficiaries. Adults: €4.50. Groups (12 people): €3.50. Cezam cardholders: €2.5. Free admission for all on Saturdays from October 1 to May 31. Tourism & Handicap label. Guided tour (by reservation or according to program. 1h30 duration). Gift store. Activities.
