400,000 years ago, the first men were already shaping the estate, and flints cut by their hands can be found at the foot of the vineyards. This clay soil has been used for vine growing since the 12th century. The estate was created in 1928 by two Italian brothers who bought small plots of vines. The name Bouissel was not adopted until 1989. Fanny and her husband Luc took over the estate in January 2020. Available in red, rosé and white, the wines of Château Bouissel have been awarded several distinctions.
