A private observatory-planetarium in Montredon, to observe and better understand the universe, offers animations and shows.

This is where France's first observatory was created. Initiated by Guillaume le Nautonier, astronomer and geographer of Henri IV, it is a relic. Nowadays, there are a handful of enthusiasts who run this private planetarium observatory: their goal, to allow you to observe, dream and better understand the universe. With them, you will have your head in the stars! Great animations for children who can participate in live shows, build or fire pressurized water rockets. Using a telescope, from the age of 10!

Activités très intéressantes et encadrement sérieux et chaleureux. Explications claires et soutenues. Franchement un très bon moment autant pour les adultes que les enfants! Allez-y!!

Par le biais de Planète Tarn, nous avons fait une astro randonnée nocturne et ce fut une très belle expérience. Nous sommes partis avec un guide vers 20h30 de Monredon-Labessonnié, nous étions une cinquantaine de personnes. Nous sommes allés à travers champs et forêts jusqu'à un très vieil observatoire. Déjà le fait de marcher de nuit dans la forêt, c'était très agréable. Nous avons pris un moment pour observer les étoiles avec les explications de notre guide. Nous avons même eu la joie de voir passer l'ISS (station spatiale internationale). Retour vers 23h30 après une soirée magique, la tête dans les étoiles !
