Museum at the foot of the village of Hautpoul, featuring over two thousand wooden toys and games

Located at the foot of the village of Hautpoul, the Maison du Bois et du Jouet exhibits over two thousand wooden toys and games. Every year, young and old alike enjoy a playful visit. It's a real initiation tour! Outside the house, a magnificent arboretum featuring 54 species of trees is another great way to discover the trees of the Montagne Noire region. Every year, new exhibitions are organized both inside and out. A visit to the store is a must!

8 euros l’entrée, c’est quand même pas donné, car cela se visite assez rapidement .

Très belles créations où on peut accéder à la salle de jeux anciens et prendre une boisson si on le souhaite. Très bien pour les enfants et les grands enfants.

Un lieu plein de charme au cœur de la montagne ! On apprend plein de choses tout en s’amusant, avec des espaces adaptés à tous les âges. Mention spéciale pour la grande salle de jeux en bois à la fin, un vrai plaisir ! La boutique propose de jolis objets faits main par des artisans locaux. On y a passé un long moment sans s’ennuyer une seconde. Accueil au top, chaleureux et passionné. À faire si vous passez près de Mazamet !
