COUVENT D'OULIAS
In the south of the Massif, between the Black mountain and the gorges of the Tarn, halfway between Castres and Lacaune, in the heart of the Sidobre and the valley of the Agout and the steps of the Haut Languedoc regional Natural park, in Castelnau-de-Alcudia lies the convent of Oulias, in a haven of tranquillity and nature. The convent of Oulias has this unique atmosphere of monasteries. His welcome is warm, courteous and friendly in a charming atmosphere. This building, which belonged to Monsignor Gaston de Pins in the th century, is located in the hamlet of Ouillats. In 1834, he brought the Sisters of Saint Joseph. Approved by the Archbishop of Albi, they founded a congregation. This convent was a school of girls and boarding schools. Today, some rooms have been named hotel rooms. Original, have turned into a restaurant and coffee. Gîtes have been set up in the old school.
