For its part, the church of Notre-Dame-de-Bonne-Espérance presents an impressive 12-meter fresco dedicated to the theme of the Apocalypse according to Saint John. It was created by Gaston-Louis Marchal, a former disciple of the sculptor Ossip Zadkine and born in Damelevières.
