Cultural associations Tarbes

Tarbes is a welcoming city for newcomers. The voluntary association "Accueil des Villes Françaises Tarbes et Bigorre" is there to help them adapt and build a social network. They offer a wide range of artistic, recreational, cultural and sporting activities, as well as half-day and full-day outings. Tarbes offers a warm welcome and a wide range of activities for new arrivals.

They offer a variety of products, including dried beans, ready meals, seeds, spreads, organic ready meals and microwaveable trays. The Tarbais Bean Cooperative is renowned for its white beans, sold dried or cooked. Grown at the foot of the Pyrenees, it has been harvested by hand for generations. You can also find tinned Tarbais beans, either cooked naturally or ready-cooked.

Association des Moulins is a cultural association based in Tarbes.

This association, chaired by Mrs Cervantes, has been in existence since 1987 and has as its specificity the promotion of Spanish and particularly Andalusian culture. Teachers, who are native to this country, animate Spanish language workshops or sévillanes dances for members. It is a sharing, a user-friendly, and also organized courses for teens, painting and plastic arts workshops, in Spanish, for children starting five years old. It is also a festival (Ibéro Andalous de Tarbes and Bigorre) at the end of November, beginning of December in the whole department with exhibitions, conferences, sévillanes dance courses, presentations of Spanish films, shows… A real Change!

This grouping is an association of farmers in organic or conversion. It also offers out-of-home catering and organizes a bio fair every year.
