Thierry Lair has succeeded in harmonising distant flavours with the great classics of the region in a contemporary setting in L'Isle-Jourdain.

The resolutely contemporary setting of this gastronomic brasserie echoes the modern bias of the menu. Thierry Lair learnt his trade with Bernard Bach, the two-starred chef from the Gers. This is evident in the finesse and originality of his creations, which revisit the great classics with flavours from further afield. The inevitable foie gras from the Gers is accompanied by a coulis of piquillos with white Floc de Gascogne. For the main course, we liked the meeting of game and Indian spices with the filet mignon of wild boar spiced up with Tellicherry pepper.

Restaurant très agréable et super rapport qualité prix, ça fait plusieurs fois que nous y mangeons avec ma famille et nous sommes ravis. Les plats sont créatifs, un beau mariage de saveurs, le service est super, le personnel très gentil. Cette fois, nous y étions pour les fêtes et avons profité d'un menu amélioré délicieux. Je recommande dans modération !

Excellent restaurant. Belle carte. Prix corrects. Accueil excellent. Service excellent.
Un regret ce que je croyais être le plat "signature" a disparu de la carte. !!!! Et pourtant le pied de cochon désossé et farci au même pied de cochon est ou était une tuerie.
