In the heart of the pretty village of Lannepax, the Delord house has been distilling exceptional armagnacs since 1893. Founded by Prosper Delord, itinerant distiller and cellar master, the company is now run by the dynamic tandem of his great-grandsons Jérôme and Sylvain who, while passionately preserving the treasure of a family know-how built up over four generations, are bringing it fully into the modern age. The vintages, as well as the skilful blends slowly matured in the beautiful rooms of the cellar, enjoy an international aura.

Nous étions à Chalons en Champagne en juin 2023 à la recherche d'un bon Armagnac. Notre choix s'est porté sur le Delord Bas Armagnac VSOP. Nous ne le connaissions pas encore. L'achat était donc un pari. Fin juillet, de retour aux Pays-Bas, nous avons goûté cet armagnac. Un bon armagnac, complexe et stimulant à tous points de vue. Nez, bouche et finale.
