Located near the central market hall, in the old building that used to house the weights and measures used at the market, the cantonal museum presents an interesting collection of objects from the prehistoric, Gallo-Roman and medieval periods. Stones, fossils, ceramics, mosaics: there is something for everyone, the jewel of the museum being a superb central beam with a fleur-de-lis that is the envy of many. We can guess the past of Gimont, and the glory of the good old kingdom of France... The visit will be quick, but very nice !
