Cooking with fresh quality products in a restaurant with terrace in Gimont.
The Villa Cahuzac is a building steeped in history which today houses a hotel complex. Its restaurant is installed in a long colonnaded room. Its veranda and its terrace make it a particularly pleasant place on sunny days. The chef offers a tightly-focused menu, concentrating on fresh quality products. The menu, renewed according to the seasons, will be able to propose you, for example, a salmon gravlax mousse and avocado ice cream, an Iberian pluma (neck muscle of the black pig) a la plancha served with seasonal vegetables and a teriyaki sauce and a pineapple vacherin, whipped cream with yuzu and its sorbet. The chef, Ritish Ragadou is originally from Mauritius and has brought with him flavours from the unusual islands in the South West, especially in his desserts: mango, yuzu, lime, pineapple... Villa Cahuzac also organises foie gras workshops, with or without accommodation.

Le prix du menu choisi (19,50 € pour entrée+plat+dessert) était correct avec une cuisine de qualité.
Le service, bien qu'aimable, manquait un peu de professionnalisme car il s'agissait certainement d'apprentis serveurs, et les serviettes en papier pour ce type d'établissement, ça fait un peu cheap...
The chef has nothing to learn, it has already all.
Incomparable flavour, colour on the plate, amazing combines textures in the dish.
We have to lunch during 3 days in this place, we were between 6 and 11 people, and we are unanimous, it was perfect. We only dream to come back as soon as possible. The CHEF congratulations!
Le cadre est somptueux mêlant harmonieusement plusieurs styles architecturaux et la cuisine très originale.
Le service est impeccable, le personnel est à l'écoute et est très professionnel.
Les plats ont des saveurs très équilibrées avec des garnitures sympathiques. La présentation est raffinée et soignée.
C'est un restaurant qui vous offre la possibilité de vous relaxer dans un endroit rempli de charme et de déguster une cuisine succulente et emplie d'originalité.
Je le recommande aux personnes qui passent par Gimont.
