Basilica of Bois-Chenu neo-Gothic style, with polychromy and decorated with 8 paintings by Lionel Royer
The basilica is the monument to Joan of Arc. The architect Paul Sédille is responsible for this neo-Gothic gem in a composite style. The foundation stone was laid in November 1881, and the work was completed in 1945. The basilica is distinguished by its polychromy, composed of pink Vosges granite and white Euville stone. It is decorated with 8 paintings by Lionel Royer depicting the life of the saint.
