ST. LAWRENCE FORTIFIED CHURCH
From the top of its hillside, it dominates the surrounding area and ensures a good mother-church on the small village of Miracle-Mardigny. His role as a «guardian», however, was not yesterday. Already in the th century, it was the only building in which we could celebrate the masses of fiestas, baptisms, weddings and funerals. Still visible today, the square tower tower (the ensemble formed by the bell tower and the primitive narthex) was built in the th century. The rest, however, underwent numerous changes in the th century. The church was enlarged and the direction of the modified choir towards the West (and not to the East, as it is used). Finally, the fortified character of the church (with mighty foothills), which is explained by its border location: between Messin and Duchies Lorraine of the Middle Ages. Situated a little away from the village, this soothing place is ideal for calm and relaxation, and a picnic table is also available.
