La Ballastière is a leisure area based in a green setting, located near the Hagondange train station. The area consists of an artificial pond with wooded and flowery banks, surrounded by numerous botanical paths, a playground, picnic areas, a fitness trail, as well as a water sports base and a tennis court. La Ballastière is very popular with fishermen, joggers and families who come to enjoy a moment of relaxation and fun. In addition, every summer, the site hosts a 672 m² fine sand beach, equipped with deckchairs and parasols (access for a monthly fee). La Ballastière thus becomes a place dedicated to swimming in a natural environment, ideal for weekends or holidays in the summer. Please note that swimming is supervised during this period and accessible from 10 am to 6.30 pm. A good place to refresh yourself and have a good time if you are in the area! Moreover, you can meet artists who come to enchant the visitors.
