A few kilometres from Metz, this is a relaxing and instructive site that rises to an altitude of over 300 m. Enjoy exceptional views of the surrounding area. In ancient times, this promontory was used to watch over the road leading from Metz to Verdun, Reims and Paris. You will also come across remains: there was a Gallic settlement up there and, later, a feudal castle and a priory of Romanesque origin.
