Dadas Tours, the only remnant of the city's ancient fortifications, located in Boulay-Moselle.
The Dadas Tours remain the only vestige of the ancient fortifications of the city. This enclosure, destroyed in 1635, testified to the power of the reign of the lords of Boulay which began in the 9th century. In the Middle Ages, the fortified town of Boulay developed and the castle of the lords of Boulay was established in the northwest of the town. The surrounding walls and the towers of the castle were dismantled. Many places and streets have kept the stamp of this period. The most imposing testimonies are provided by the mass of the two towers. It is worth a small detour!
