Physical training is all year round: whether it is raining, selling or snowing! If the motivation is not always high in winter, here are two activities that should quickly change your mind: cross-country skiing and snowshoes! So forget the multitude of summer hikes to the Herders (at least for a few months), and welcome on the 50 kilometers of cross-country ski slopes! In classic or skating, you can try both techniques and at all levels: the tracks range from green to black. As for walkers, two snowshoe trails are reserved for them since the Hut des Herders.
Tariff: From 7,70 € per day per adult, € 3,50 for those under 16, some courses made available free of charge.
Distance: cross-country skiing: 32 km shown in several tracks, snowshoes: 2 routes from 4,5 km to 9 km.
Difficulty: cross-country skiing: very easy (green) to very difficult (black), snowshoes: very easy (green) to easy (blue).
Special provisions: if you leave solo, we recommend that you warn the gendarmerie before your departure, specifying your itinerary.
