The Sunday flea market is an opportunity for the people of Sète and bargain hunters to stroll through the streets of the Ile Singulière, to rummage through the stalls in search of a little dress, a decorative object, a pair of cheap pants, a bag, a book... A hundred or so stalls are set up on this square where the atmosphere is pleasant. Here, we chat, we stroll, we have a little pleasure. A nice program after having taken its coffee of Sunday in the sun, baguette of bread under the arm, some coins in the pocket.

SIMONE ET LUCETTE

Thrift shop

Vintage store, at Simone et Lucette we find beautiful second hand pieces, from the 1950s to 2000, sometimes branded, always carefully selected. Each piece is found, washed and ironed. We find all sizes from 32 to 52, the selection is renewed every week with new items every day. Clothes but also accessories, flowered dishes, some lights, shoes... The store is a treat for the eyes: everything is arranged by color, we admire the gradations and the decoration, we appreciate the welcome.

Almost twenty years ago, Christine Caporiccio created the famous Thursday flea market, which she still organizes to attract the curious and connoisseurs on the banks of the Ile Singulière. Lovers of antiques and beautiful finds meet every Thursday on the Leopold Suquet quay to appreciate the stalls of treasures. Paintings, knick-knacks, flowery dishes, small furniture and big nuggets, jewelry, toys, lights... Along the Canal, you can stroll, rummage and find treasures to take home or to offer as unique gifts.
