The church of Notre-Dame-de-London is made from two superimposed churches. A comparison between the southern church apparatus, datable around 1100, and the North church, datable around 1150, measure progress in the size and adjustment of the rubble from one time to another. To connect the two naves, the engaged arches of the oldest nave were gutted as arcades.
