A setting to discover the protected geographical indication (PGI) of the Upper Orb Valley
The Haut-Languedoc and its regional natural park has valleys where water is a nature. Here dominate the mounts of Caroux, Espinouse, Escandorgue, wide open spaces, stories and legends. The thermal waters of Avène and Lamalou-les-Bains offer a setting where it is good to recharge your batteries. In this setting you will discover the protected geographical indication (IGP) of the Haute Vallée de l'Orb. Its wine craftsmen will make you discover the typicality of this ancient land where, sheltered from the mountains, a Mediterranean microclimate favours wines of great aromatic expression. The old railway line "Passa Païs", a greenway, will show you the wonders of this area on foot, on horseback or by bicycle.
