Restaurant offering a simple but good and generous cuisine
This brasserie has two rooms. One facing the bar, where many regulars watch the news while enjoying a dish of the day, and a smaller one at the back, for those who prefer more peace and quiet. The cuisine is simple but good and generous. For starters, the chef offers a beef carpaccio, a plate of charcuterie, mussels au gratin and a Landaise salad with gizzards. Main courses include duck breast with spices, beef tournedos with smoked bacon, duck aiguillettes en persillade and classic tartare. All these dishes will be accompanied by regional wines and followed, for dessert, by a warm Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Le Diamantina is the brasserie par excellence for enjoying the spa atmosphere. It's a strategic central address, with no fuss and very pleasant staff. For sports and games fans, sporting events are often shown on the giant screen.
