Museum known for its paleontological excavations directed by Eric Buffetaut, vestiges of the Neolithic and the Roman period exposed

The Musée de Cruzy may seem modest, but it is renowned among enthusiasts and experts alike for the paleontological excavations carried out by CNRS researcher Eric Buffetaut. These include a coelacanth maxilla, fossilized turtle shells, dinosaur eggs... The most recent discoveries: a cervical vertebra from a bird that must have measured over 1.70 m, and a 90 cm titanosaur femur. Neolithic and ancient Roman remains can also be seen, as well as a collection of ceramics from the 17th and 18th centuries.
