In 1936, the Boissier family set up the first artisanal factory of cade oil. First, cade oil had mainly veterinary use: treatment of sheep scab. At present, it is mainly used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. Thanks to the collaboration of the rural pharmacy and the faculty of pharmacy, a new range of «cadiques products» was born, the first shampoo in true cade oil.
