Church located in Caux, with a bell tower-porch dating from the 14th century as well as its side chapels
In all likelihood, the present church is the successor to an older building. Rebuilt in the Romanesque period, it has retained some of its features. Although its nave originally had only four bays, two new bays were added at the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century. Its bell-tower-porch dates from the 14th century, as do its side chapels. In 1696, the parish commissioned an important altarpiece from the Cazalbon father and son, sculptors from Béziers, but only a gilded wooden statue of the Virgin Mary (early 17th century) and the old marble high altar (18th century) remain from its furnishings.
