AIRE DE BAIGNADE SAINT ÉTIENNE D'ISSENSAC

This bathing area offers postcard-perfect scenery, with the ^14th-century Saint-Etienne d'Issensac bridge and its listed medieval chapel as a backdrop. The bridge crosses the Hérault River near the ancient priory of the same name, a passageway for pilgrims on their way to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a stopover on the Camino de Compostela. Three of the five original arches have been preserved. During the summer, the bathing area is supervised.
