BEZIER GARDENS
In the image of the poets'plateau, rich in the sculptures of Injalbert, some green spaces in Béziers offer charming walks. Thus, the garden of Villa Antonine, Place Injalbert, summer residence of the sculptor, has several statues of his former owner.
The same is true of the old cemetery, where the large families of the last century decorate their last century. A charming stroll under the cypress trees in the midst of works by Magrou, Louis-Paul Villeneuve, Injalbert… Completely different ambiance in the garden of Plantade. Located on the river Orb, it contains the mill of Bagnols. A beautiful original building, it was developed by the biterrois engineer Jean-Marie Cordier in the th century to allow the river water to climb to the city. Finally, the Jardin des Bishops - see "Saint Nazaire Cathedral" - offers a superb view of the Orb valley.
