FÊTE DE LA SAINT-APHRODISE

Every year on April 28, the people of Béziers gather to celebrate their patron saint, Saint Aphrodise, who was beheaded by order of the Romans for wanting to evangelize the city. Starting at 10 a.m., the event gathers in Place Saint-Aphrodise, where young and old alike can enjoy a multitude of cultural, entertaining and even gourmet activities, including a tasting of the famous and delicious Coques de Saint-Aphrodise. A traditional festival full of conviviality.
